Heather Capuzzi Sheridan, M.A., is a certified secondary school counselor and secondary English teacher, currently employed as a middle school counselor and yoga and mindfulness instructor at an international school in Brussels, Belgium.

Heather grew up near Philadelphia and has lived in London, Prague, Boston, Hong Kong and Brussels.  A mother to three girls, Heather is an avid runner and exercise enthusiast who discovered the many benefits of a yoga asana practice in 1999 when she was pregnant and living in Brussels and has been practicing ever since.  In 2011, she moved to Hong Kong where she found time to deepen her practice and become a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor. Heather is an experienced 500-hour registered Yoga Alliance member trained to teach a variety of yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices including teen yoga, yin yoga and yoga for stress management. More recently, Heather has become a part of the international Accessible Yoga network, committed to bringing yoga to underserved communities. 

Heather has taught teens and adults privately, at studios and schools in Belgium, Hong Kong and the United States and at the U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong. She has led mindfulness courses with students, educators and parents and presented workshops in schools and international education conferences on the benefits of mindful education and stress management. She is deeply passionate about sharing her knowledge with others and offering wellbeing solutions for schools and their faculty.
